Re-editing Brightness and Contrast

As I said before in my last post most of the problems we had with our movie were very easy to fix and now I'm going to show how we amended these problems.

Altering the brightness of colour shots:

1) First you open the effects tab within the browser window.

2) Next you choose the drop down menu 'video filters'.

3) Select image control from the drop down menu.

4) You then select 'Brightness and Contrast' and drag it to the viewer window.

5) Make sure that the effect has been dropped onto the window.

6) Then select the filters tab from the top to get the effect options

7) Finally adjust the sliders to your preference. We obviously lowered the slider to reduce the brightness and on some shots we increased the contrast so that details were not missed out.

See my next post for how we re-edited the credits using livetype to make them bigger and change the font.
